Facebook has just announced plans to build a $700 million data center somewhere around the outskirts of Nashville.

According to sources, the new data center is now being code-named “Project Woolhawk” will include over 900,000 square feet of data storage and processing space on a several hundred acre development. The social media giant is currently focusing their search around the town of Gallatin, about 30 miles north east of Music City.

The new facility would employ roughly 100 new workers with an average salary of $80k per year and it would attract millions of dollars in auxiliary services, companies, and jobs around the massive new data center.
