The Nashville Metro animal hospital has just announced that it is currently over its maximum capacity and will be immediately waiving adoption costs to make room for more animals.
Typically the fee is $90 for dogs, $60 for cats, and $50 for smaller animals, but until May 31st, all those fees will be waved.
The main goal of the shelters is to “individuals and organizations across Nashville to help domestic animals find caring homes, decrease over-population of cats and dogs through spaying and neutering, support widespread rabies vaccinations, and promote responsible pet ownership.”
According to their website, the address of the main shelter in Nashville is 5135 Harding Place in SouthEast Nashville.
If you want to adopt, you need to also consider getting one of these.
