There are now 600 more jobs in our region thanks to a massive supply chain management company.
Ryder Supply Chain Solutions recently hired 606 employees at their South Nashville Spring Hill facility, which involved a huge expansion of management, warehousing, transportation, kitting and assembly operations.
Another huge announcement was a national commercial fleet management company investment of $16.5 million on equipment, information technology and infrastructure and doubling their footprint to 600,000 square feet on GM’s Spring Hill campus.
Ryder now employs roughly 200 people, so after the new jobs are created, their total employment would increase to more than 800 people.
More jobs were announced in Mt. Pleasant with 180 new jobs planned at an $80 million porcelain tile manufacturing facility for Gruppo Concorde’s UST Inc. subsidiary.
